I am a Timeist:  my jewelry distills time.

We experience time in different ways. Time can feel fluid, smooth, and thin. Time can feel dense, heavy, and thick. Timeists create art that triggers an emotional call to action. As a Timeist, I probe the dimensions, implications, and effects of time on human experience.

My relationship with time has changed in different stages, influenced by my experiences. Growing up as a Korean in an American military high school, my daily routine was strictly controlled, making time feel heavy and packed. Art gave me individuality amid conformity. Mandatory military service in Korea reinforced my belief in agency over time—this phase crystallized time as my inspiration for jewelry.

I believe time's density varies for each individual, and through my pieces, I explore this subjectivity and our control over it. My collection invites viewers to consider time's profound impact on our lives and perceptions in its ever-changing flow.
